  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat Vegetable oil over medium heat. Add Onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add Ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Stir in Kidney beans, Diced tomatoes, Tomato sauce, Chili powder, Cumin, Garlic powder, Salt, and Pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. While the chili simmers, grill or boil Hot dogs according to package directions.
  5. Place Hot dogs in Hot dog buns. Top with Chili, Shredded cheddar cheese, Diced onions, and Mustard.
