  1. In a bowl, gently combine all Burger Patties ingredients. Do not overmix.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into thin patties, slightly larger than the buns.
  3. Prepare the Sauce by combining all Sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
  4. Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
  6. During the last minute of cooking, place 2 slices of American Cheese on each patty and allow to melt.
  7. Lightly toast the Hamburger Buns on the griddle.
  8. Spread Sauce on both halves of each bun.
  9. Assemble the burgers: bottom bun, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheeseburger patty, top bun.
  10. Serve immediately.
