
Cranberry Sauce With Port Wine
A traditional cranberry sauce enhanced with the rich flavor of port wine. This recipe is simple to make and perfect for holiday gatherings.

Fresh or frozen cranberries
1 cup
Water
1/2 cup
Port wine - Ruby Port
1/4 cup
Orange juice
3/4 cup
Granulated sugar

A traditional cranberry sauce enhanced with the rich flavor of port wine. This recipe is simple to make and perfect for holiday gatherings.
Instructions
- Combine all Cranberries, Liquid, Sweetener, and Flavorings ingredients in a medium saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened.
- Remove from heat and discard the orange zest strip.
- Let cool completely. The sauce will thicken further as it cools.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
