Start the first song before you prep. Follow the recipe for cooking times, then let the final tracks carry you through cleanup.

  1. Heat Olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
  2. Add Ground beef and Italian sausage to the pot and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Add Onion, Carrots, and Celery to the pot and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in Garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
  5. Add all Sauce ingredients to the pot and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. For a richer flavor, simmer for up to 1 hour.
  6. Pour in Beef broth and bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions.
  7. Season with Salt and Black pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with Fresh parsley.
