Instructions
- Brine Chicken: Season the Chicken with Salt and Black pepper.
- Prepare Dredge: In a bowl, combine flour, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Dredge Chicken: Dredge each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
- Fry Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Prepare Waffle Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Cook Waffles: Heat a waffle iron and grease lightly. Pour batter onto the waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Serve: Serve fried chicken with waffles and Maple syrup.
