  1. Prepare the Jack Daniels Sauce: In a small saucepan, combine all Jack Daniels Sauce ingredients. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Set aside.
  2. Form the Burger Patties: Gently combine all Burger Patties ingredients in a bowl. Form into 4 equal patties.
  3. Prepare Fried Onions: In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge onion rings in the flour mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
  4. Fry the Onions: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry onion rings in batches until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Cook the Burgers: Grill or pan-fry the burger patties for 4-6 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, brush generously with the Jack Daniels Sauce.
  6. Assemble the Burgers: Place a cheese slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt. Toast the hamburger buns. Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the bottom bun. Add the burger patty, top with fried onions, and cover with the top bun. Serve immediately.
