🎙️ Cook with voice coach- Cook the Elbow Macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the Butter over medium heat. Whisk in the All-Purpose Flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, creating a roux.
- Gradually whisk in the Milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in the Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Salt, and Black Pepper until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked Macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir to combine. Let cool completely.
- Once cooled, roll the Mac and Cheese mixture into 1-inch balls.
- Prepare three shallow dishes: one with All-Purpose Flour, one with beaten Eggs, and one with Panko Bread Crumbs.
- Dredge each Mac and Cheese ball in the Flour, then dip in the Egg, and finally coat with Panko Bread Crumbs.
- Heat Vegetable Oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the Mac and Cheese balls in batches for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Serve immediately.
