Prepare the Meat Sauce: In a large pot, brown the Ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
Add the Onion and Garlic to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the Crushed tomatoes, Tomato sauce, Tomato paste, Oregano, Basil, Salt, and Pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Prepare the Cheese Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the Ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, Egg, and Salt. Mix well.
Cook the Lasagna Noodles according to package directions.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Assemble the Lasagna: Spread a thin layer of Meat Sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer with 3 Lasagna noodles, half of the Cheese Filling, and 1/3 of the Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers twice more, ending with a layer of Meat Sauce and the remaining Mozzarella cheese.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
